At Miami Acting Company, we believe in the transformative power of the arts to inspire, educate, and unite our community. As a proud 501(c)(3) not-for-profit theater organization, we have been dedicated to enriching South Florida's cultural landscape through high-quality theatrical productions and meaningful community outreach programs. However, today, we are reaching out with urgency and hope, seeking your support to help sustain this vital mission.

As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic dealt a severe blow to arts organizations worldwide, forcing canceled performances, closed theaters, and a loss of critical funding. Like many, Miami Acting Company has worked tirelessly to rebuild, adapt, and continue bringing live theater to our community. Just as we began to regain our footing, the devastating announcement came in 2024 that all state funding for the arts in Florida has been eliminated. This decision poses an unprecedented threat to organizations like ours that rely on this support to continue serving the community.

We are thrilled announce the first musical of our 2025-2026 season will be 9 to 5: The Musical, opening in April 2025 This high-energy show, with music by Dolly Parton, is a celebration of resilience, empowerment, and workplace justice—with a whole lot of fun along the way! Following that, we will bring you a riotous, sharp-witted comedic play about the women behind the man in charge of the free world. POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive will open in August. Finally, in January 2026, we are honored to bring you the Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal. If you’re unfamiliar with this show, it is a beautiful, poignant, and unflinching look at a suburban family navigating the effects of mental illness. This is a show that stays with you long after the curtain falls.
